Jose Mourinho has confirmed Harry Kane is targeting a return to fitness as early as next week with the striker in contention to play against Everton or Manchester City.
The striker suffered a double ankle injury in Spurs' 3-1 defeat by Liverpool last week with Spurs initially fearing he was set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
But Mourinho said the 27-year-old's recovery is progressing well and predicted he will be able to play a part in the FA Cup fifth-round tie with Everton next Wednesday or the following league match against Man City.
