Joey Barton and Ched Evans came to BLOWS in heated dressing room row last month that contributed to manager's sacking at Fleetwood Town

Joey Barton was sacked by Fleetwood Town as a dressing room altercation with Ched Evans contributed to the end of his first managerial post.

Sportsmail understands Evans and Barton were involved in a heated row after last month’s 1-0 win at Swindon Town, with the striker having not played since.

The pair came to blows following the victory, during which Evans was a substitute for the final 16 minutes. Barton later declared that Evans had no future at Fleetwood and the 32-year-old was suspended by his manager.
