Jamie Carragher admits he 'CAN'T BELIEVE' reports that Raheem Sterling could be a makeweight in Man City's bid to prise Harry Kane from Spurs and insists 'top Champions League clubs would be queuing up for him' amid Euro 2020 goalscoring form

Jamie Carragher is baffled at talk of Raheem Sterling being used as a makeweight in Manchester City's deal to sign Harry Kane, describing the winger as one of the 'two best English footballers of this generation'.

Sterling has been in excellent form for England at Euro 2020 this summer, scoring the winning goals against Croatia and Czech Republic in the group stage and is still the only Three Lions player to find the net at the tournament.

Sportsmail exclusively revealed last month that the Manchester City man has been put up for sale by his club as Pep Guardiola's side look to raise funds for moves involving England captain Kane and fellow Three Lions star Jack Grealish.
