'If they don’t see it, I can’t help': Jurgen Klopp hits out again at Roberto Firmino's critics and says he'd be 'embarrassed' by having to explain his quality... but remains coy over whether he'll start against Manchester City

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has launched another stern defence of Roberto Firmino with his place in the starting line-up under question ahead of Sunday's clash with Manchester City.

Firmino was dropped in favour of Diogo Jota for Liverpool's Champions League clash with Atalanta on Tuesday night and the Portuguese fired in a hat-trick to lead Klopp's side to a commanding 5-0 win.

After the game, Klopp said Liverpool wouldn't even be a Champions League side without Firmino and he rounded on the Brazilian's critics again at his Friday press conference.
