Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted he was concerned that the Premier League season would be declared null and void during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
The domestic campaign was halted in mid-March with the Reds 25 points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table.
Several options were put on the table when the Premier League was scrambling to work out how to conclude the season, one of which was completely wiping out the 29 games played so far.

The Reds are now 22 points clear of City, thanks to their win over Arsenal in midweek, and Klopp has admitted he was concerned his side might be denied the chance to win Liverpool's first league title in 30 years.
