The Spanish press has paid tribute to Sergio Aguero with the Barcelona forward set to announce his retirement from football on Wednesday.

The 33-year-old, who only signed from Manchester City back in the summer, was diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia after experiencing chest pains during his first start for Barcelona on October 30.

Argentina international Aguero has only made five appearances for his new club having scored 260 times in 390 matches for City over the course of 10 highly successful seasons there.
