Harry Kane has effectively ruled himself out of the Tottenham’s season opener against Manchester City by spending another day outside the UK.
As previously reported by Sportsmail, Kane had stopped in Florida on his way back from a family holiday in the Bahamas despite the fact he was due to report for pre-season training on Monday.
Kane’s no-show has disappointed Tottenham and the club’s frustrations won’t have improved as it emerged they were still awaiting confirmation of his return to England on Wednesday afternoon - with Kane understood to have remained in Florida.
