Gary Neville has admitted he would not feel right if Manchester United enjoyed success through new owners forking out billions each transfer window.

Ahead of last month's 'soft' deadline, Qatari Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced that they had made bids to buy the club off the Glazers.

It's understood that any potential takeover is set to be delayed until May because the Glazer family are reportedly holding out for a bid of £6billion after initial bids from Sheikh Jassim and Ratcliffe's Ineos were lodged at a maximum of £4.
