Young players are getting too much, too soon and the 'hunger' is being taken out of them by Premier League clubs.

That's the view of Paul Dickov, following The Sun's revelation that Manchester City's 20-year-old defender Tosin Adarabioyo has splurged £2.25million on a mansion.

Adarabioyo has never started a league game for City but takes home a weekly wage of £25,000-a-week.

Dickov said: I'm a huge believer of going back to the days when I was an apprentice; you got your grounding, you learnt your discipline, you were cleaning boots and changing rooms and you had to earn the right not just to get in the first team squad but to earn every penny you have got and keep that hunger there.
