It's been more than two years since Manchester City faced a team from outside of the top flight in the FA Cup. It was a shock result, too, as then-Championship Middlesbrough took a 2-0 victory away from Manuel Pellegrini's team at the Etihad in January 2015.
The fans haven't had an away trip to a lower league side in the competition for even longer -- it was a 1-1 draw at Blackburn in Pellegrini's debut campaign, back in January 2014.
To get a win when playing away at a team from outside the top flight in the FA Cup, City fans have to think back over seven years.
