Manchester City are ready to make Erling Haaland the highest-paid player in England, should he join from Borussia Dortmund.
As Sportsmail revealed last week, the champions are frontrunners in the race for the 21-year-old star forward.
Personal terms have been discussed and it can now be disclosed that Haaland would become the Premier League’s top earner, with a salary in excess of £500,000 a week.

Haaland would earn more than £500,000-a-week, pocketing more the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo (left) and City’s Kevin De Bruyne (right), who are both on about £385,000 a week
City believe there could be a decision in a month’s time.
