Erling Haaland's golden touch at the start of the season appeared to desert him as the Man City star missed a penalty in Norway's key World Cup qualifier - before seeing his retaken spot-kick also saved.
Haaland has been in lethal form so far this season, with the forward having scored in all but one match he has featured in to date.
Heading into Norway's clash against Israel, Haaland had scored 13 goals in his last 10 appearances.
He appeared poised to add to the tally when Norway were awarded a third minute penalty, after Patrick Berg was fouled in the box by Dan Biton.
