Eden Hazard recovers from muscle injury in boost for Zinedine Zidane and could play first minutes of the season as Real Madrid aim to kick-start their Champions League campaign away to Borussia Monchengladbach

Real Madrid have been boosted by the return to fitness of Eden Hazard as they take on Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League.

The Belgian travelled to Germany with his team-mates for Tuesday night's Group B fixture and is available having shaken off a muscle injury in his right leg.

Hazard, 29, hasn't played a single minute of football so far this season and hasn't featured at all since Real's Champions League exit to Manchester City on August 7.

It comes as a boost to manager Zinedine Zidane as Real aim to kick-start their Champions League campaign having surprisingly lost 3-2 to Shakhtar Donetsk on matchday one last week.
