Covid-hit RB Leipzig report six more cases among players and staff after Champions League trip to Belgium to face Club Bruges - with German side set to host Manchester City behind closed doors in 11 days time because of outbreak in the region

German side RB Leipzig have revealed that six more players and staff have tested positive for Covid.

Head coach Jesse Marsch and goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi were already in quarantine after testing positive last week.

And Leipzig reported six more positive coronavirus cases on Friday following their Champions League game against Belgian side Club Bruges in Manchester City's Group A.

Defender Willi Orban, forwards Yussuf Poulsen and Hugo Novoa, and goalkeeping coach Frederik Gößling all tested positive for COVID-19 after returning from Belgium, while defender Mohamed Simakan and a member of the backroom staff were infected despite not traveling, Leipzig said.
