Hellas Verona confirmed on Thursday that they’ve signed Manchester City midfielder Ivan Ilic on a five-year deal.
TuttoMercatoWeb say the Serie A outfit agreed a £6.4m deal with the Premier League champions for the 20-year-old and Pep Guardiola has unserted a buyback clause in case his stock while he’s away from the Etihad Stadium.
Ilic joined Man City from Red Star for £2.25m in 2017, but he never made an appearance in the first-team. The Serbian international was immediately loaned out after arriving in Manchester and spent the last four years at four different clubs.
