Chelsea will not rush Raheem Sterling’s return from injury —despite their desperate need for more threat up front.
The England international, 28, has had an injury-hit season. He recovered from a hamstring strain picked up against former club Manchester City in January, but has missed Chelsea’s last two games against West Ham and Borussia Dortmund after suffering a knock to the knee in training.
He is, though, keen to get back and help Chelsea’s push to salvage their season, and is now eyeing Southampton’s visit on Saturday for his comeback.
