Chelsea take the train north ahead of Premier League showdown against Manchester City as manager Antonio Conte relishes first meeting with Pep Guardiola

Chelsea have trained at Stamford Bridge ahead of their top-of-the-table Premier League clash with Manchester City on Saturday lunchtime, as Antonio Conte prepares to face Pep Guardiola for the first time as a manager.

The pair have both made a positive impression in their first few months in English football and just one point splits league leaders Chelsea and third-placed City ahead of the showdown at the Etihad Stadium.

Having discovered how effective his 3-4-3 system is in the Premier League, Conte could well name the same starting XI for the seventh successive Premier League match.

Although Conte admitted there were doubts over some of his squad, it is not believed it will alter a team pushing for their eighth consecutive league win.
