Championship strugglers Reading have signed former Manchester City winger Brandon Barker.
The 25-year old had been training with Reading after leaving Scottish champions Rangers by mutual consent at the end of January.
Barker has now has signed a short term deal until the end of the season.
He will wear the number 33 shirt.
Reading are 21st in the Championship and face Peterborough on Wednesday.
The game could determine the fate of manager Veljko Paunovic who faces the sack after a run of eight successive defeats.
