American soccer fans were left outraged when CBS cut from its coverage of Manchester City's Champions League clash against Real Madrid to bring a breaking report on former President Donald Trump.
Pep Guardiola's side travelled to Madrid Tuesday afternoon for a crunch semifinal first leg against Real Madrid in what was set to be a thrilling rematch of last year's clash between the reigning Premier League winners and the Champions League holders.
However, soccer fans stateside were left stranded after CBS, the only channel that provides coverage of Europe's biggest competition, cut off its program part way through the first half of the clash at the Santiago Bernabeu.
