Manchester City are reportedly prepared to double Bernardo Silva's wages and make him one of the highest earners in the club's history.
Silva, 27, has taken his game to new heights this season, becoming an indispensable for Pep Guardiola after producing the finest form of his City career.
The Portugal star is understood to have feared for his place in the side following Jack Grealish's £100million arrival from Aston Villa over the summer.

However, instead of leaving City he has pushed on to become their player of the season by a country mile.
