Aymeric Laporte jokingly tweets image calling for 'robot' Erling Haaland to be kicked out of football...while 300 fans sign change.org petition calling for him to be banned because 'it's just not fair'

Aymeric Laporte has jokingly tweeted an image calling for his team-mate Erling Haaland to be kicked out for football following his stunning start to life at Manchester City.

Haaland joined City for £51m from Borussia Dortmund in July and has already netted 14 goals in eight league matches for his new club.

The Norwegian striker has scored three consecutive home hat-tricks in the Premier League, including in the Manchester derby last weekend.
