Arsenal fans aim subtle dig at Man City as they claim their 'class and tradition' is 'something oil money can't buy' with banner in the crowd during Brentford game in wake of financial charges

Arsenal fans mocked rivals Manchester City before their game with Brentford on Saturday with a banner relating to their recent Premier League charges.

The Gunners were five points clear of City before kick-off against the Bees and were pushed by Thomas Frank's side in their bid to extend their lead.

The banner, presented in the home end, read: 'Arsenal FC. Class and tradition. Something oil money can't buy.'

City are owned by an Abu Dhabi based group who have spent heavily since buying the club in 2008.

Recent Premier League charges relate to several financial breaches over a number of years.
