Angelino is set to return to Manchester City when his loan deal with RB Leipzig expires as Bundesliga high-flyers rule out £25m permanent deal this summer

Manchester City defender Angelino will return to the Etihad when his loan spell with RB Leipzig finishes at the end of the season.

The left-back joined the Bundesliga club in January and has impressed so far, scoring once in 12 appearances for Julian Nagelsmann's side.

Leipzig have the option to sign Angelino permanently for around £25million this summer, but it appears they will allow him to return to England.

Nagelsmann says the club must respect their budget and will only spend big this summer if they sell players - even if they reach the Champions League again.
