BATON ROUGE – LSU Softball sophomore pitcher Shelby Wickersham has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team as announced by CoSIDA Thursday. Wickersham is the first to earn the accolade since Dylan Supak in 2015.
The 2020 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Honorees selected first-team Academic All-District® will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot.
