That would be the worst class that Brian Kelly has signed at LSU, as his classes have never ranked outside the top-10. Kelly and his staff are still rounding out the 2026 class, and have shown they can utilize the transfer portal effectively in order to round out their roster.
But after the recent firing of Virginia Tech head coach Brent Pry, there are a couple Hokie commits that LSU should target. Virginia Tech showed Pry the door after starting the 2025 season 0-3, which included a 45-26 loss to Old Dominion last Saturday.
