BATON ROUGE – The LSU Beach Volleyball team was ranked as the No. 3 team in the nation in the inaugural collegebeachvb.com poll earlier in the week.
This is the first poll by collegebeachvb.com, a website dedicated to covering beach volleyball at the collegiate level. The ranking committee consists of Brooke Kuhlman, Molly Scheel, Sarah Sponcil, Travis Mewhirter, Summer Nash, Anne Marie Anderson, and Holly McPeak – all respected named in the collegiate beach volleyball ranks.
In January, LSU earned its highest ranking - No. 2 in the DiG Magazine Collegiate Beach Volleyball Preseason Poll – as the program heads into its seventh year of existence.
