Tigers Fall To No. 5 South Carolina, 4-2

BATON ROUGE, La.— The No. 5 South Carolina Gamecocks used a four-run seventh inning to take the first tilt of the Saturday doubleheader, 4-2, inside Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

AJ Labas fired 6.1 shutout innings before being relieved in the seventh inning. He gave two runs on five hits and struck out four Gamecock batters.

The second game of the doubleheader will begin at 2:30 p.m. CT. It will be streamed on the SEC Network+ and be carried on the LSU Sports Radio Network affiliates.
