After ducking out of trouble in nearly every inning Friday night, LSU and AJ Labas couldn’t weave out of danger Saturday and as a result dropped game two of the series against Alabama, 6-5.
LSU bookended the game with two home runs from Gavin Dugas, one a solo shot in the first inning follow a home run from Dylan Crews and the other a two-run shot as a part of a ninth-inning rally that would eventually fall short.
Alabama responded to the back-to-back jacks with a solo shot of the own in the top of the second, but the Tigers got that run back when a one-out walk to Drew Bianco came around to score on a single from Dylan Crews.
