BATON ROUGE – The LSU Tigers are ranked in the newest AP Poll that came out on Monday, making the 11th straight week dating back to last year that LSU is in the top 25.
The Tigers, now No. 23, are 1-0 after an 88-79 win on Friday in the season opener over Bowling Green in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. LSU travels to VCU on Friday for a 5 p.m. CT contest (ESPN2, LSU Sports Radio Network).
LSU's next home game is Saturday at 3 p.m. against Nicholls. Tickets are on sale at LSUsports.net.
