BATON ROUGE - On Sunday, Dec. 8, more than 3,500 runners, joggers and walkers will #RaceToDeathValley and celebrate the historic football season that LSU has been having. With the SEC Championship game on Saturday and the postseason playoff announcement scheduled for Sunday (11 a.m.-3 p.m.), there is plenty to celebrate.
The Tiger10K event includes a 10K, 5K and Kids 1-mile run, all of which take participants through a scenic tour of the LSU campus as they pass many of its landmarks including the University Lakes, Sorority Row, the Parade Grounds, the Bell Tower, and the Indian Mounds all before finishing in the shadows of Tiger Stadium.
