After defeating Mississippi State 19-3 in the Tigers’ fourth win over a ranked team this season, LSU moved up to No. 4 in both the AP and Coaches Polls. Other SEC teams in this week’s polls include Alabama (1/1), Georgia (7/6), Florida (9/11), Kentucky (12/14) and Texas A&M (16/17). Clemson and Notre Dame were the consensus No. 2 and No. 3 teams, respectively. Here are the complete rankings.
As you might imagine, I received a ton of email yesterday and the large majority were about the targeting call on Devin White and his subsequent suspension for the first half of the Alabama game.
