LSU football is going to prove in 2021 that either the 2020 season or the 2019 season was a fluke.
Obviously, the Tigers are hoping to prove that the 2020 season was the one that was a fluke.
Ed Orgeron’s squad went 5-5 last season, which was a bit disappointing after the way the program totally dominated college football in 2019.
With two games remaining in the 2020 season, it looked like a 3-7 season was a real possibility for LSU.
The Tigers, however, managed to rally and finish the season with two straight wins (against Florida and Ole Miss), avoiding the program’s first losing season since 1999.
