The crown of "Wide Receiver University" has been owned by LSU for several years now. Given the elite receivers that LSU continues to churn out year after year, there hasn't really been much true debate on who the real WRU is in today's NFL.
Only recently has Ohio State tried to claim that title. It's true that Ohio State has produced some great receivers in recent seasons, but they pale in comparison to what LSU has done.
One former Ohio State receiver agrees. In an interview with the Pivot Podcast, Jaxon Smith-Njigba said that right now LSU holds the crown of WRU.
