The LSU Tigers just reminded college baseball that they are the most talented team in the country. Their next stop is the College World Series in Omaha.
The LSU Tigers (48-15) faced the Kentucky Wildcats (40-21) in a best-of-three contest at the Baton Rouge Super Regionals. The Bayou Bengals only needed two games to dispose of their SEC foe. As a result, LSU baseball is headed to the Men’s College World Series. It is the Tigers’ first trip to Omaha since 2017.
