BATON ROUGE – The LSU softball team remains at No. 12 in both the USA Today/NFCA DI Coaches Poll the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll announced Tuesday.
LSU, who has been ranked every week since the end of the 2014 season, claimed a series victory over No. 19 Tennessee on the road last weekend. The Tigers won game one, 2-1 in eight innings. They fell in game two, 4-3 in eight innings, and claimed the series with a 11-3 five-inning rubber match win.
The Tigers earned a total of 438 points in the NFCA poll and 278 points in the ESPN.
