LSU won its second consecutive SEC series this past weekend taking two of three games from Missouri in Columbia.
Mizzou dominates game one
LSU opened this game with a first inning home run from Taylor Pleasants. It was all downhill from there as Missouri went on to win the first game 9-1. Starter Shelbi Sunseri lasted just 2.2 innings after allowing six runs, only three of which were earned, as the Tiger defense was problematic again. Her relief Morgan Smith, allowed three more runs, two earned. LSU mustered just two hits and two walks in the game.
