BATON ROUGE – After a perfect 5-0 week, the LSU softball team has cracked into the Top 5 of the weekly polls, coming in at No. 4 in the USA Today/NFCA D1 Coaches Poll.
remained at No. 7 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate poll.
LSU, who has been ranked every week since the end of the 2014 season, earned a total of 672 points in the NFCA poll. In the ESPN/USA Softball poll, the Tigers picked up 424 points. LSU is the only school in the Top 5 of the coaches poll.
The Tigers are back in action this week, traveling to the Judi Garman Classic in Fullerton, California.
