LSU softball made it interesting, but they have again advanced to the Super Regionals to face the winner of the Minneapolis regional.
It was not easy, as Texas Tech gave the Tigers everything they could handle, starting with an epic 13-inning winner’s bracket game on Saturday. The Red Raiders set the tone for the game, scoring four runs in the first inning. Deep in that early hole, LSU spent the rest of the game slowly digging themselves out of it.
The biggest chunk of the lead came down in the fourth inning, when the Tigers loaded the bases for a major threat.
