LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt appears to be making progress with his hamstring injury coming off of the team’s bye week.
Leavitt said the hamstring improved significantly over the course of the week, adding that he was “running around 100%.” The extra time away from game action appears to have finally given the quarterback an opportunity to recover and get closer to full strength.
His latest comments are an encouraging development for the Tigers as they prepare for the next stretch of their schedule.
Getting him back to full strength would relieve some stress off of the offense moving forward.
