According to The Advocate, the LSU Tigers have officially made the decision to move on from long-time head coach Les Miles and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron.
The Tigers’ loss on the road against the Auburn Tigers Saturday night essentially guaranteed the fate of both coaches, as LSU fell from National Championship favorite to unranked before even playing five games.
Both Miles and Cameron were nearly let go late last year, and both came into the 2016 season with an extremely tight leash. There was almost zero chance they were going to survive the team falling from College Football Playoff contender to unranked in four games, and now that move appears to be officially in place.
