After reportedly having his transfer to TCU blocked, former LSU offensive tackle Willie Allen is heading to Tyler (Texas) Junior College.
He posted the news on Twitter and later confirmed it to The Baton Rouge Advocate.
Allen (6 feet 7, 310 pounds) was a four-star recruit in the 2017 recruiting class from River Ridge (La.) John Curtis, in the New Orleans suburbs; he was considered one of the top-20 offensive tackles nationally in the recruiting cycle. He announced his intentions to transfer earlier this month.
Allen was the 17th ranked high school offensive tackle in 2016, according to 247Sports.
