Defensive tackle Travonte Valentine could get his wish to return to LSU this fall.
The Baton Rouge Advocate has reported that the SEC has given the school the go-ahead to bring the player back should he choose to return this year. He would have to meet some academic requirements.
The reports says Valentine needs to complete 13 hours of school work over the summer to qualify. He would not be required to meet the transfer requirements of junior college players because he would be returning to LSU.
Valentine signed with LSU in February 2014 as a four-star prospect.
