The Tigers (6-3, 4-2 in SEC play) have surged into contention for a Sugar Bowl berth by pigging out on Arkansas, 38-10, combined with losses by Auburn and Texas A&M. A season that fell apart early has reassembled itself for a possible sweet finish.
A Tigers sweep of the banged-up Florida Gators Saturday and A&M on Thanksgiving, without its starting quarterback, would set things up nicely, as long as Alabama knocks off Auburn in the Iron Bowl.
