SAN JOSE Del CABO, Mexico – The No. 19 LSU women's golf team is on pace to earn its fourth Top 3 tournament finish as the Tigers are currently in second place after the Second Round of the Battle at the Beach in San José Del Cabo, Mexico.
The Tigers shot an even 288 to stay at 5-over 581 in second place going into Monday's final round. It was LSU's fifth round this season of par or under. LSU is just one stroke out of first place behind Ole Miss at 4-over.
"We backed up a good first round with a little bit better round today," said second-year head coach Garrett Runion.
