HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The No. 12 LSU women's golf team finished the prestigious Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in 10th place. The Tigers shot an 897 over the 54-hole tournament that featured 17 teams all ranked in the Top-40 in the nation.
LSU had a made a good showing on the front nine for the third day in a row at even, but struggled on the challenging back nine. The Tigers shot 16-over 300 for the round.
"Certainly we would have liked to have had a better finish than we did," said LSU head coach Garrett Runion.
