LSU football is always going to be a favorite to land elite players from New Orleans, but they might have some competition for 2022 defensive tackle Shone Washington.
Washington, 6-foot-5/298 lbs, hasn’t been rated yet by any of the major recruiting services, but he’s expected to be one of the top defensive lineman in the 2022 recruiting class.
The New Orleans native, who was described by Rivals last summer as having “great burst off the ball”, currently has reported offers from Mississippi State, Tulane and Virginia.
Washington, who already possesses SEC ready size, recently told Rivals that he’s completely focused on Mississippi State and LSU.
