In a season that has gone sideways in just about every way imaginable, the LSU Tigers were able to salvage some positivity with a 23-22 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday afternoon. LSU has now won nine of the last ten meetings with Arkansas, as Frank Wilson picked up an emotional first win as LSU's interim head coach.
LSU's quarterback situation remained in flux all week heading into Saturday's matchup with the Razorbacks. Garrett Nussmeier has been battling an abdominal injury all season long, and he suffered a setback during Thursday's practice. As kick-off drew nearer, it was announced that backup Michael Van Buren would be getting his first start at LSU.
