Bryan-College Station, Texas. - The LSU men's and women's cross country team placed second with team scores of 66 and 52 points, respectively, at the Arturo Barrios Invitational which took place Saturday morning at the Watts Cross Country Course. The men ran in the 8k event while the women followed with the 6k run.
"I was really pleased with how we raced today" said LSU cross country coach Houston Franks regarding the team's performance. "This was a really good meet with some quality teams from the South Central region.
