LAS VEGAS- The LSU men's basketball team defeated St. Mary's, 78-74, in the Coaches vs. Cancer Neon Hoops Showcase, Saturday night in the T-Mobile Arena.
The Tigers improve to 8-3 on the season while the Gaels fall to 7-5.
The Tigers had four players in double figures. Tremont Waters elf with 18. Skylar Mays and Naz Reid each had 14, and Emmitt Williams had 15. Williams led the team with six rebounds, and Ja'vonte Smart and Waters each had three assists.
LSU shot 44.6 percent (25-of-56) in the game.
