Baton Rouge, La. – The LSU men's basketball has earned BASF Team of the Month honors for the month of March. The Tigers went 5-2 in a span of seven games that included trips to the SEC title game and the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
The month started off with a pair of wins to wrap up the regular season. The Tigers defeated Vanderbilt by a score of 83-68 on March 2 before closing out the regular season with a quality 86-80 win over Missouri on March 6. Those two wins pushed LSU's conference record to 11-6 on the season and it earned them the third seed in the conference tourney.
